Leeds based illustrator and comic creator Nick Gonzo has been working in Indie comics for more than a decade.

After studying art at Greenhead College, and graduating from the University of Kent with a BA(Hons) in Architecture, he has worked on many and varied comics and design projects for a variety of galleries and publications. His illustrations have graced the pages of political commentary website NSFWCorp, Indie Culture Magazine NO-WAVE, and The Low Road Zine.

More recently he became one of the founders of Madius Comics, an indie comics imprint that has taken the UK scene by storm, having published 15 titles in 2 years and worked with an array of artists. Their anthology series Horrere in association with Little-O comics has been nominated for both a Ghastly and a SICBA award.

Through Madius Gonzo has used his unique creative drive to create varied and strange comics that explore a variety of themes; mostly whether a Samurai would skateboard into a horde of zombies for a milkshake and whether or not there are multi-dimensional robots hiding on desolate planets.
